About BingeClub
BingeClub exists because the catalogues got bigger and the free evenings did not. Every major service now holds thousands of titles, and almost none of that supply is useful on a Tuesday night. We publish one shortlist a week, built for the hour you actually have.
How we choose
We watch before we write. A title earns a place here only after somebody on the desk has sat through it to the end, which is why our list is short and why some obvious releases are missing. Availability is checked on the service where the title streams in the country you are reading from. Where a show has a slow first act we say so rather than hiding it behind a vague recommendation.
Two questions decide every entry. Is the finished experience worth the hours it asks for. Is it the right pick for the mood a reader is likely to be in when they open the site. A title can be excellent and still be wrong for the night, so we often point readers somewhere quieter instead.
Editorial independence
Our writers are not paid by studios, platforms or publicists, and no one has ever paid for a place in a shortlist, a ranking or a verdict. Some links on this site are affiliate links, which means BingeClub may earn a commission if you sign up for a service after following one. That commission never changes a verdict, a position in a ranking, or whether a title is included at all. Where a pick is genuinely weak we still say so, even when the link would have paid.
We do not accept sponsored reviews, we do not take payment for coverage, and we do not run advertising networks on the site.
Sections
The site is organised into six shelves. Streaming Platforms covers renewals, rotations and value. What to Watch holds the weekly shortlist. Series Deep Dives and Film Analysis go longer on craft and structure. Genre Guides group picks by lane, and Home Cinema covers screens, sound and settings.
Corrections
Availability changes faster than any site can track, and streamers withdraw titles with little warning. If something on a page is out of date, tell us at [email protected] and we will correct it and note the change. We would rather publish a corrected page than quietly delete it.
